We’re a charity dedicated to supporting Ukraine’s healthcare sector.
We provide essential medical supplies to hospitals and medical teams on the frontline in Ukraine and help Ukrainian healt/hhcare professionals find training and work opportunities in the UK, particularly within the NHS.
Our Vision
The Ukrainian Medical Charity (UMC) is a community dedicated to supporting Ukrainian healthcare professionals in retraining and requalifying for the UK medical sector. It also facilitates medical supply donations to Ukraine by connecting UK charities, NGOs, and hospitals with Ukrainian medical institutions.
UMC provides essential training in urgent medical techniques necessitated by the war, helping to strengthen Ukraine’s healthcare system.
Supported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, UK charities like St John Ambulance, and NHS foundations, UMC is actively working to rebuild Ukraine’s medical infrastructure.
With strong partnerships and committed supporters, UMC strives to enhance medical effectiveness in Ukraine and play a vital role in its recovery.
